The author of this blog is an ok-ish software craftsman (primarily in the Java environment), happily living in Berlin, currently (and for the foreseeable future) working at Solactive AG (Berlin). Besides producing (hopefully) well-crafted code, he likes to learn new stuff (currently especially Japanese, some day perhaps also Latin), reading, cinema, theatre (watching, not acting), cooking, writing, board gaming with friends and a few other things…
He considers himself an LGBTQ ally, being all for diversity, especially in his professional environment, since different backgrounds and experiences help us to see problems from various angles and find better solutions for everyone. Additionally, he simply doesn’t care who does what with whom – as long as it’s consensual.
Also for some strange reasons he seems to have had a clown for breakfast, otherwise it’s hard to explain why he would write this in 3rd person. Let’s hope it’s not the majestic plural, as such things can be contagious.
While it may seem like he mentions some things (like online courses from a certain page) a lot, that’s purely personal preference and he doesn’t get anything in exchange.
Feel free to write me an email or contact me on twitter @FlorianSchaetz. If you feel especially bored, I also have a Xing and LinkedIn account, but to be honest, I am not very active on either site.
This, purely private, page is maintained, owned, written by, administered, handled, operated, supervised, taken care of, (sometimes) neglected and run by…
E-Mail: (Now that’s a surprise, isn’t it?)
